Lunch Menu

  • Explore our lunch menu addition: Kaizen – an exceptional lunch experience in under 40 minutes, which includes a carefully curated selection of dishes: a soup, an appetizer, a choice of protein, a French baguette, and dessert! (view menu for more insight)

 

  • Valet parking is available at The Laurel Hotel and Spa for guests dining at 1856 – Culinary Residence.

 

  • We require a 24-hour notice to accommodate any dietary restrictions/allergies. Please note any dietary restrictions/allergies in the pre-visit questions on Tock, any request made within 48-hours may not be accommodated.

 

  • Walk-ins welcome, but reservations recommended. 

 

  • We do not have a dress code. Many of our guests dress up for the occasion, but wear whatever will make you most comfortable.

 

  • 1856 – Culinary Residence is a small, intimate restaurant. We do not admit children under the age of 12 to dine in the restaurant. Children’s menus cannot be accommodated.

Dinner Tasting Menu

  • Tuesday – Thursday we offer a 5-course tasting menu at $85/person as well as an 8-course tasting menu at $125/person.

 

  • Friday – Saturday our 8-course tasting menu at $125/person is our sole offering. 

 

  • A beverage pairing option by our Master Sommelier, Thomas Price, can be added whether making a reservation or at the time of service.
    • 5-course tasting menu option includes 4 wines at $65/person
    • 8-course tasting menu option includes 6 wines at $100/person

 

  • At the time of making a reservation, a deposit will be taken per person along with tax and 20% gratuity. The only form of deposit will be to hold your reservation.
