Private Events
Elevated spaces for the most special of occasions. 1856 – Culinary Residence has three unique options for your next event.
Our 12-seat private dining room offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the sights of our open kitchen. The space can be open to appreciate the sounds and aromas of what our chefs and students are preparing, or completely closed off for privacy. A two-story wine room flanks the private dining room and provides the opportunity to host a pre-dinner wine tasting with charcuterie.
Our 48-seat main dining room can be reserved as a buyout option Tuesday – Saturday for up to 4 hours, choosing between our à la carte lunch or indulging in our dinner tasting menu. Enhance your event by adding a 30 minute cocktail segment featuring custom cocktails with garnishes cultivated in our rooftop gardens.
All private dining experiences in 1856-Culinary Residence reflect the current a la carte lunch or dinner tasting menu experiences. We will work with groups on dietary or allergy requirements, but no menu adjustments can be made to the lunch or tasting menu.
